Estimates

Work starts from a written estimate. A reply by text or email is the approval. If the car needs more once it is apart, the bay stops and calls before that extra line is added.

Diagnostic time

The first diagnostic hour is billed if you decline the repair. Approve the repair the same visit and that hour comes off the labour on the invoice.

Parts and deposits

Special-order and performance parts can require a deposit. If you cancel after those parts are ordered, the deposit stays with the parts. Stock items the supplier will take back are refunded, minus a restocking fee when the supplier charges one. Parts you supplied are stored for 30 days after we ask you to pick them up, then disposed of.

Comebacks

If the work we did is not right, bring the car back within five days and we correct our labour at no extra labour charge. Parts follow the parts maker’s warranty. A new fault, a part you supplied that failed, or a change you made after pickup is a new card.

Calibration

A street calibration is for the car as it sat on the day it was logged. Hardware changes after that day need the file looked at again, and that visit is quoted. We keep the emissions equipment on the car.

Bookings

Call if a booking has to move. Bay hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 6, and Saturday, 9 to 2.

Payment

Payment is due when the car is picked up. The invoice lists the lines that were approved.
